Joel Bañez

I am Joel Bañez, resident pastor at Akbay Bible Baptist Church in Taytay, Rizal. It was When Pastor Allen J. Agbisit came back to our province in 2009 to start an outreach and preach the Gospel that I became one among those blessed who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. I am thankful to the Lord for using my Pastor to share the Good news. Also, he enrolled me at Landmark Baptist College where I have completed my Theological studies. When I graduated, he send me to Negros Occidental to assist our missionary and for my on-the-job training. I stayed there for several months before I came back to my home church.

After two years, I got married to my beautiful and supportive wife, Rica Marie Bañez. We prayed for about a year for a place to start a mission work. Pastor Antonio Escorpiso, who Started the Akbay church, was called to start a new mission work at Karangalan, Cainta, Rizal. I took over the work at Akbay and now, by the grace of God, the church is continually growing, spreading the Gospel. Please include us in your prayers.
